Japan’s answer to the Range Rover, the Toyota Land Cruiser has built a solid reputation as a genuine 4WD in a world where soft-roaders are preferred more.
Now Toyota has gone ahead and redesigned the Land Cruiser for 2012, unveiling the next-generation “Ninja King” at the Brussels Motor Show earlier this week. Featuring a reworked exterior and interior styling alongside additional tech, the 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser V8 turned heads at the European motor show.
2012 Toyota Land Cruiser V8: What’s new?
Starting with the exterior, the 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser gets a huge, new oversized front bumper with integrated fog lights, redesigned grille featuring chrome and silver-finished vertical bars and LED daytime running lights. On the rear we find a redesigned bumper as well alongside new rear tail lights. Along the lines of the Land Cruiser we see new side protection chrome mouldings, new side-mirrors and even side view cameras. Carrying the redesigned behemoth are fresh new 20-inch rims.
Moving to the interior, the 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser V8 gets many more improvements including raised quality levels when it comes to material selection. On the dashboard we find a new audio panel to compliment the jet black interior with chrome-plated details. And just like past Land Cruiser models, the glossy woodgrain interior kit remains.
