The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is already two-years old and it is still viewed as a powerful device today. However, how will it compare to the slightly newer LG G2?
Size-wise, the Note 2 is the larger of the two. It sports a 5.55” display that runs at 267ppi. The G2, on the other hand, has a sharper 5.2” screen that runs at 423ppi. Also, the larger screen on the Galaxy Note 2 means that it drains the 3,100mAh battery faster. The G2 is equipped with a 3000mAh battery.
In terms of speed, the Note 2 runs on the 1.6GHz Samsung Exynos 4 processor with 2GB RAM and ARM Mali 400. The G2 is faster as it runs on the 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB RAM and Adreno 330 GPU.
As for cameras, the Note 2 has an 8MP rear camera and a 1.9MP front shooter. The G2, on the other hand, has a more powerful 13MP rear camera and 2.1MP front shooter.
By far, the LG G2 is the more powerful device. However, the Note 2 has some added features like microSD support of up to 64GB and the S Pen which improves productivity. Then again, it is not enough to beat the newer G2.
