Nissan-Renault EV Reach New Milestone In EV Sales!

It was just a day ago when Tesla celebrated their latest milestone which is achieving more than 1 billion in travel mileage for the Model S. Now, the competition has spiced up more after Nissan-Renault alliance announced that it has finally sold its 250,000 EV car.

While most of the sales are owed to the success of the Nissan Leaf, the 250,000 unit sold is the Renault ZOE. The vehicle was sold to a French engineer and it proves that Nissan-Renault is the leading name in the EV market.

The Alliance never showed signs of slowing down as they manage to sell more EV cars this year than the last. In the period from January to May, the Alliance sold 31,700 EV cars in total. This is about 15% more than the figures from last year.

With both Nissan-Renault and Tesla reaching new milestones in quick successions, it proves that EV cars are the future of the industry and it won’t be long before they replace petrol entirely.
