The Volkswagen Golf R is about to get an estate variant coming in the future but unfortunately, it won’t be coming here in the US. This is confirmed by Volkswagen, thus, rubbishing the many rumours suggesting on when the Golf R Estate will be released.
VW representative for USA, Mark Gilles, revealed that the company has no plans to sell the Golf R Estate here in the US. The irony with this statement is that Volkswagen will be unveiling the highly anticipated car at the upcoming LA Auto Show.
The high performance extended hatch will be looking to offer ample space for the passengers and monstrous performance like the original Golf R. The Estate is expected to make its debut in Europe by 2016 with no word on a global release.
