Come next year, Lexus will be launching the RX Facelift model. Earlier today, the Japanese luxury carmaker went public to tease on the perks that are coming with the RX Facelift.
In detail, Lexus shared that the RX Facelift will be coming with more parts that are made of aluminium. This includes the hood, tailgate and closures. The choice of aluminium will aid in reducing the weight of the upcoming RX350 and RX450, thus, making the vehicles more fuel efficient than before.
Of course, such a feature is not really new in the automotive market. Ford is already utilizing aluminium to build the next-gen F-150 and most German carmakers too are practicing aluminium bit by bit.
