When Ford first teased on the production of the next-gen Focus RS, it got the entire world excited. This is except for the fans here in the US as they fear that the Focus RS might not get a local release due to the availability of the EcoBoost-powered Lincoln MKC and the Mustang.
With Ford having both performance vehicles on their belt, the fans don’t think that the Focus RS is going to join the pack. Well, Ford fans can ease their fears as the next-gen Focus RS will indeed make its debut here in the US.
If the fans are to check out Ford/’s statements from the New York Auto Show this year, they will know that the carmaker has already confirmed on the Focus RS’ US debut. Unfortunately, Ford didn’t give any explanation for their decision but it should be enough to kill the doubts.
