The next-gen BMW 7-Series is expected to make its global debut later this year and the car is going to come with tons of upgrade as it looks to come out on top of its bitter rival, the Mercedes S-Class.
To achieve this, BMW is going to introduce a host of new technologies on the 7-Series. As how it was reported on AutoExpress, the car will come with the ability to remotely park itself. Also, the features can be operated via gesture control and we can’t wait to figure out how it works.
Everything about the 7-Series is going to be new but the styling will still be near-identical to its predecessor. As part of BMW’s weight loss movement, the 7-Series is also going to be lighter than ever before.
The lighter body basically means that the luxury sedan is going to offer more power out of the newly developed 3L turbocharged 6-cylinder engine. Also, the lighter weight, together with BMW’s new energy saving technology, is going to ensure that the 7-Series will return an impressive gas mileage.
Of course, no figures have been released just yet but we can expect to learn on them prior to the car’s arrival later this year. Will the next-gen BMW 7-Series make it or break it.
