It was only a month ago when Subaru launched the next-generation Forester and yesterday, the Japanese carmaker launched the new Outback. While both vehicles might be part of Subaru’s 2015 line-up, we were surprised to learn that the latter is actually safer than the former.
NHTSA gave out the details earlier today that the Outback managed to achieve 5 star ratings while the Forester only managed 4 stars. The Outback managed to accomplish this after excelling in the front crash test segment.
This will surely be a selling point for the Subaru Outback as more and more consumers are prioritizing the safety of the vehicle. Aside from that, the SUV will be that new benchmark in the safety department for other carmakers to match.
