2015 Jeep Wrangler Freedom Edition Meant For The Patriots

Jeep is no stranger to making multiple variants of its vehicles. Just recently, the American carmaker launched the Wrangler Sahara. Now, Jeep has publically announced that they will be launching the Wrangler Freedom Edition next year.

The patriotic 4×4 will be retailing $23,390 and will drive on the 3.6L V6 engine that is mated to a 5-speed automatic gearbox. Like all the Wranglers before this, the Freedom Edition is also equipped with the off-road technologies from Jeep.

The motor powering the Wrangler Freedom Edition generates a total of 285hp and 260ft-lbs of torque. Meanwhile, fuel consumption figures stands at 17mpg on the city, 21mpg on the highway and 18mpg on combined use.

In many ways, the Freedom Edition is so alike to the Sahara. The only difference is with the blue paintjob and Oscar Mike logos planted everywhere on the body. Aside from that, the Wrangler Freedom Edition is completed with features such as 17-inch by 7.5-inch aluminium wheels, P255/75 R17 OWL on/off road tires, power convenience group, heated mirrors and power windows.

On the downside of things, Jeep failed to specify on when they will release the Wrangler Freedom Edition. However, judging from its name, the vehicle is might just debut near Independence Day next year.
