Last month, Jeep launched the all-new Wrangler and a week later, the carmaker unveiled a special model called the Wrangler Freedom Edition. Retailing at $23,390, the Freedom Edition is developed to be the most patriotic of all the Wranglers.
Then again, there isn’t a lot of difference between it and the average Wranglers. The Freedom Edition is powered by a 3.6L V6 engine that is mated to a 5-speed automatic gearbox as it runs on 4WD.
In figures, this develops 285hp and 260ft-lbs of torque. Fuel economy is rated at 17mpg in the city, 21mpg on the highway and 18mpg on combined driving condition.
Also, the vehicle is equipped with the off-road technologies from Jeep, which allows it to perform like a beast when on rocky roads and muddy trails. This is made easier as the Freedom Edition is equipped with large 17-inch by 7.5-inch aluminium wheels, P255/75 R17 OWL on/off road tires, power convenience group, heated mirrors, power windows and many more.
The biggest difference between the Freedom Edition Wrangler and the normal Wrangler is with its design. The former basically comes in a single colour and that is sky blue. Aside from the above, everything else about the Freedom Edition is similar to the normal Wrangler.
