The Hyundai i30 has just been refreshed with a new model and it now comes with a turbocharged trim level. Known as the i30 Turbo, the car is able to generate 186PS and 265Nm of torque from its 1.6L turbocharged T-GDI Gamma engine.
There is also a traditional 6-speed manual transmission paired with the car and surely, this completes the i30 Turbo as a powerful hatchback that will surely appeal the thrill seekers.
Design-wise, the i30 Turbo looks sporty with its larger than life grille, new front LED shape, twin exhaust and also red detailing on the front and rear bumper like how it is from the Mercedes A-Class. The red accents are also found inside the vehicle at the steering wheel, gear knob and door trims.
Comparing the i30 with its predecessor, the changes are simply massive. The new hatchback inspires more confidence for the drivers. In a way, we somehow got a gut feeling that the sole purpose of the i30 Turbo is to challenge the Ford Fiesta EcoBoost and stop their domination once and for all.
