There are a lot of rumours and speculations lately suggesting that Ford will be launching the next-generation Bronco next year. The vehicle will be built based on its last concept that was unveiled a decade ago but it will be powered by the latest Ecoboost and diesel engine technology.
In detail, most reports suggest that the Bronco will be built on the same platform that is used by the latest F-150. The engine options are expected to be the 5L V8, 3.5L Ecoboost V6 and a 4.5L turbcocharged diesel mill. Of course, each engine is tailored for different trim levels.
Then again, Ford is not a big fan of diesel motors and prefers to promote their award winning EcoBoost technology. The latter is simply sublime when it comes to minimizing fuel consumption while maximizing power.
Regardless of the engine options that are available, the Bronco is expected to sell massively well. After all, the pickup truck has got a super huge fan base that is equal, if not better, than the Mustang.
