2015 Audi Q5 Review: Uncomfortable But Great Economy

Yesterday, we landed behind the wheel of the latest Audi Q5 and were pleased by everything that it has got to offer. Well, almost everything at least as we were left disappointed by the car’s poor comfort.

While the interior might appear like a 5-star hotel, it cannot hide the discomfort caused by the suspensions. We tumbled into several potholes and the absobers failed to keep things comfortable. Things were stiff and it resulted in our displeasure.

However, all is forgiven the moment we decided to test the power of the Q5. The 2L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine is paired to an electric motor. Driven on the AWD system with the 8-speed automatics, the Q5 performed like how we expected it to. The engine basically generates 245hp and 354ft-lbs of torque which made the car a great performer.

Then again, it is the fuel economy offered by the Q5 that got our jaws hanging. We did a lot of test with the Q5 and were shocked to learn that it returns an average of 25mpg. This is really amazing and it should be the selling point for the latest Audi Q5.
