2015 Audi A1 Review: A Leading Example In Practiality

Who knew that an Audi can be really reliable and practical for everyday use? We learned on this the hard way after checking out, and testing out the latest Audi A1. This small hatchback might look tiny but you will be surprised with what it can offer.

In terms of design, the A1 looks decent with nothing special to offer. The only nice bit is with the four rings that are embedded on the front grille. For us, we are disappointed with the 2-door setup when the A1 is actually capable of coming with 4 doors.

Then again, all is forgiven as the A1 runs on the 1.6L TDI diesel engine which offers 114hp. Together with the dual-clutch gearbox, the engine is able to return 76.3mpg over in the UK. If so, this makes it ideal for city dwellers as the A1 offers an extremely low driving cost.

For a 2-door hatchback, the A1 is also very versatile in the sense that the rear seats can be folded further. This will free up more boot space hence making it ideal for supermarket trips. For some, the latest Audi A1 is viewed as the leading example in practicality.
