Samsung are updating their handsets to KitKat 4.4 and it is thought that HTC may be about to do the same. Meanwhile LG owners have been wondering when the update will arrive on the LG G2.
Now LG Saudi Arabia has shed some light on this through Twitter when they said that KitKat 4.4 should arrive on handsets towards the end of January. The post has since been removed though. Owners of the handset in South Korea have got the update.
We can therefore assume that LG are going to be rolling it out with unlocked handsets being the first. LG did say that they would bring KitKat to devices towards the end of Q1.
KitKat 4.4 will bring with it a lot of improvements. This includes Immersive mode, choosing default messengers and much more. The user interface of LG doesn’t seem to have been changed much. One thing that does seem to have changed is the status bar, which is now slightly different.
