When it comes to new Subaru models, you will never know how the final production model will look like until you see it. With Subaru habit of showing off a concept and follow that up with a totally different production model, we were not sure if the Subaru Impreza will look like what concept it was based on or not.
The new 2017 Subaru Impreza was based on the Subaru 5-Door concept that Subaru showed off at the Tokyo Moto Show. Well, we were impressed with what Subaru had to offer, we were also worried that we will all be surprised when the actually production model arrives.
Luckily for us all, Subaru decided to actually stick to the concept this time around. The 2017 Subaru Impreza was given a few tweaks but in general, it was what we expecting to see.
Powering the 2017 Subaru Impreza is a 2.0 liter flat four engine that will be pushing out about 152hp. A slight improvement compared to the previous model. The 2016 Subaru Impreza delivered about 148hp.
