In the Pokemon games, if you can’t find a Pokemon and really want one, you can always trade with your friend. The feature was missing when the Pokemon Go app was released but it looks like it will be part of the game in the near future.
John Hanke of Niantic Labs informs Business Insider that the trading feature will be introduced in the future and that it will be a core element of the game. However, he did not reveal when the trading feature will be added or how it will work.
Besides the trading feature update, he also added that they will also be working to improve the Gyms and Poke Stops of the game and added that what they have now is the most basic version.
Due to some of the issues the game have been facing, Niantic Labs has delayed the international release of the Pokemon Go app.
