Back when the late Steve Jobs was still at the helm of Apple, the lad said that smartphones should be sized between 3.5” and 4” for the best user experience. Ever since Tim Cook took over, things have been different as the iPhone continuously grow in size and there is also a phablet in the name of the iPhone 6 Plus.
However, Apple is not going to forget the words of Steve Jobs as reports are suggesting that the Cupertino-based company is looking to produce a third, smaller variant of the iPhone 6. Known as the iPhone 6 Nano, the smartphone is said to come with a 4” display and it will be developed as a mid-tier device from Apple.
With a small size and low-end specs, the iPhone 6 Nano is heavily tipped to be the most affordable iPhone in history. In Apple’s eyes, the iPhone 6 Nano is simply an added business direction to conquer the entire smartphone market. The company has already released a standard iPhone 6 and the phablet iPhone 6 Plus. The iPhone 6 Nano will complete the entire Apple package.
There is no word that can describe the importance of the iPhone 6 Nano. With a low base price, almost everyone in the world can own an iPhone today. Unfortunately, details on when the device will debut are still scarce at the moment but consumers can look forward to more information coming from Apple next year.
