Back in the mid-90s, Ford owned the pickup truck market with the Bronco. Unfortunately, the awesome vehicle got discontinued as soon as the second millennium started due to some controversies and high profile criminal activities.
Now, it seems that the Bronco is looking to make a return and there are countless rumours and speculations available to back this claim. Most of the rumour mill is tipping that the next-gen Bronco will be launched next-year and will look to dominate the pickup truck segment yet again.
Then again, an insider shared with us that the Bronco won’t be a vehicle at all. Instead Ford is turning it into a trim level for the future F-150 SVT Raptor. Speaking of which, the SVT Raptor is approaching an end in its tenure which makes it all the more likely for the trim to get replaced by the Bronco.
Perhaps, the Ford F-150 SVT Bronco will come with design cues from the past and a rugged straightforward performance that offers nothing but raw power. On the other hand, the Bronco trim could be a benchmark in the pickup truck industry.
Of course, there is no telling for sure on how Ford intends to use the Bronco. Nevertheless, the arrival of the Bronco will surely leave the car junkies in search for sanity as they couldn’t comprehend the idea of reliving the past where the vehicle is ruling the roads.
