With the Mobile World Congress event a week ago opening the floodgates for many Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phones, it comes as no surprise that all high-end smartphones from this point on will launch with the latest Android version.
Sony Hayabusa Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phone coming this summer
Sony for one showed us a handful of Android smartphones, mainly the Xperia S, P and U, all of which are expected to roll out next month. However the Japanese company is expected to announce 12 Android smartphones this year so here’s another one – the Sony Hayabusa.
Obviously a codename, the Hayabusa is a Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor (a 1.5 GHz MSM8960 likely) and packs a 1280 x 720 pixels HD display. It will also support 4G LTE connectivity and is expected to land in the US for around $500 contract-free sometime in June.
With so many high-end quad-core Android phones coming this summer, we wonder what chances the Sony Hayabusa has?
