Half Life 3 Pre-Orders Fire Up With A Release Date Of The 12th Of Never

Unfortunately people use the internet as a way of pulling off scams and there will have been many hundreds of thousands of people who have already fallen victim. Internet scams come in many different disguises and typically they are based around something that is a hot topic at the moment so as to make you go for it. One of the hottest games that people are waiting for at the moment is Half Life 3. While this hasn’t attracted a scam as such, it does make you wonder about one thing we have seen.

Gamers have been waiting for over a decade for Half Life 3 and so scams are inviting to people and they are frustrating. It seems that someone is taking donations of $50 to get Half Life 3 for free once it is launched. It seems that this is limited but not a scam per-se.

Apparently there will be 2,000 copies of Half Life 3 available and to make sure you get one you can head to G2A and donate.

What has given us a good laugh is the tagline, the site is talking as if this is nothing but a bake sale for a charity with the webmaster saying that all donations will secure the donator a copy of the game and at the same time it will help children.

Of course Valve has not revealed Half Life 3 and so the game will not be making its way onto the shelves anytime soon. While there is nothing to suggest that the site is a scam, the chance of you getting a game for your $50 is very slim.
