After a decade long wait for Half Life 3, Valve’s co-founder, Gabe Newell, finally stepped out of the dark and shed some long on this highly anticipated title.
Speaking to the Washington Post, Gabe hinted that there isn’t a strong interest to develop Half Life 3. The co-founder added that being good at developing Half Life is not what Valve wanted to be known as. The game developer also wished to be seen as great when it comes to developing social multi-player games.
Despite all that, players should not feel down as there is still a possibility for Half Life 3 to be in development. Gabe revealed that Valve is heading to where its customers are leading.
If this is true and all the customers are calling for Half Life 3, then Valve will certainly have to develop the game. On other note, it also suggests that Half Life 3 is not even in development yet.
