Spending a night in GTA Online can get really lonely at times. With the 1.09 update currently in development, fans have been giving out their ideas for the game. While most of them might be ridiculous, one particular suggestion caught our attention.
It seems that the GTA community wants to own a pet dog in GTA Online. Over at the single player mode, Rockstar had put in plenty of work with Franklin’s pet dog, Chop. If the game developer was able to do it, then introducing the feature in GTA Online shouldn’t be a problem.
Having the rights to own dogs in GTA Online isn’t all that bad. It could give the game a whole new content for players to enjoy. For a start, the player’s apartment won’t be lifeless anymore. In addition to that, having pet dogs in GTA Online can also bring in a mini-game like grooming contest and such.
Perhaps Rockstar can create pet shops in Los Santos. There, players who wish to own a pet can purchase one. Of course, rules should be applied. If the player failed to take care of the dog which leads to its death, the penalty should be severe. Also, a hefty fee should be imposed if they wish to bring their dog back to life.
Aside from the heist missions, introducing pet dogs into GTA Online is something the fans would love to see. As the hype for this highly anticipated 1.09 update heats up, players can’t wait to see what sort of content Rockstar will roll out.
