Apple has not officially confirmed that they are working on a new self-driving car but most people seems to believe that they are and there has been a steady stream of details and leaks coming out.
The latest leak suggests that Apple might be looking to buy McLaren. We know that Apple seems to be having a lot of trouble building a self-driving car of their own due to the lack of experience so maybe they plan to buy McLaren so that they can have a working car company to rely on.
Of course, there might be buying it for a whole other reason. Some others think that Apple might be buying McLaren for the data only. As interesting as that sounded, McLaren did come forward to deny that there is an acquisition. They added that they are not talking to Apple about any investment.
Many also believe that Apple might only be working on a self-driving car software.
