To get to the final design, Jeep must have gone through a lot of design and of course, most of the designs will not make it to the end and most of them will never even see the light. The prototype seen here was one of the designs that did get to see the light although it will not be the final design for the Jeep Wrangler.
While we know that this is not going to be how the Jeep Wrangler is going to be like, there might still be uses for the prototype. The final production model will not look exactly like this but some of the features on the prototype could still make it.
There were also talk about the new Jeep Wrangler sporting a more aerodynamic design. Spy shots also suggest that it will come with a longer hood and steeper windshield as well. We also know that Jeep is looking to fit it with a few more aluminum parts to reduce the overall weight of the Jeep Wrangler.
