Before we got to see what the 2017 Mazda CX-5 is all about, all we had was a few rumors and speculation and the one that keeps popping up was the suggestion that the Mazda CX-5 might come in as a premium model.
Not only does that mean that the Mazda CX-5 will be coming in with more features and tech but it will also mean that it will be coming with a bigger price tag as well as we are not too sure that is what the consumers want.
Based on the new price tag of the Mazda CX-5, it looks like Mazda is not ready to go premium just yet. They’ve not reveal the new price tag for the US model but the Japan model has been priced at $20,800.
The best part about the 2017 Mazda CX-5 is that they will be offering it with the diesel engine here in the US. The diesel model will be powered by a 2.0-liter SkyActiv-G engine that will be offering 155PS.
