Since aluminum is known for being soft, a lot of fans were not too happy with Ford’s decision at that time but Ford showed us all that they know that they are doing. The Ford F-150 ended up being a huge success and Ford is not ready to take another step forward.
It is believed that the upcoming Ford Expedition will be made with aluminum. Using the lighter material will help improve the performance and fuel efficiency of the Ford Expedition. While most people does not seem to be too worried about the aluminum now, they are worried that the upgrade would make the Expedition more expensive since making the upgrade is pretty pricey.
