Late last year, Google unleashed the Android 4.4 KitKat OS and Samsung has already promised its Galaxy Note 3 users that the KitKat update will be rolled out in Q1 this year. Samsung certainly keeps hold of their promise the roll out is happening today.
The KitKat will bless the 5.7inch tablet with features like a new lock screen access, media controls, camera shortcut, SMS app chooser, restyled stylus and navigation bars, expanded Emoji icons and wireless printing.
The Android 4.4 KitKat is dubbed to be the best mobile OS ever as it is able to support devices with a low memory. On top of that, it gives smartphone the ability to synchronize with wearables.
All in all, it is great that the KitKat update is being rolled out and Sprint is the first to do so. Time and time again, this carrier has always been first to roll out the update. As for Note 3 users on other carriers, it won’t be long until the KitKat arrives.
