Offering a diesel-powered model in the US right now is already a huge risk since the drivers in the US does not seem to be that into the whole diesel movement but the risk is still not as big as the one Chevrolet is going to take.
Chevrolet is preparing to offer a new 2017 Chevrolet Cruze hatchback model here in the US and although the Cruze has been around for some time now, this is the first time we will be seeing the hatchback models here in the US.
Even though more and more automakers are working on a hatchback model to offer here in the US, the fact is that people are just not picking up these hatchback models. People used to blame it on the lack of option but even with all the options we have now, the hatchback segment is not really growing as fast as we thought it would.
Some people believe that hatchback might still have a future here in the US but we are not sure if that day is going to come fast enough for the Chevrolet Cruze hatchback model to work.
