The Honda Pilot design is still fresh and new which is why Honda decided to keep the design unchanged on the 2017 model but based on what their customers have been saying about the Honda Pilot, it is clear that the Pilot still has some room for improvement.
While Honda will not be changing the exterior of the Honda Pilot, they will be giving the interior a design upgrade. The upgrade was given not because the Pilot came with an ugly interior but because the interior felt a little to cramp with the current design. After the redesigning, the interior should be a lot more spacious.
Honda also added that they will be using some lighter materials to build the Honda Pilot so we can expect the 2017 Honda Pilot to weigh less. Whether the weight loss is significant enough to make a difference in term of fuel economy and performance is a whole other story.
