Mass Effect 4: A Foundation For Fallout 4

In a matter of months from now, Bioware will be launching their next big IP and it is Mass Effect 4. Well, fans of the Fallout franchise should also look forward to the arrival of Mass Effect 4 as the game can be an inspiration to the series’ future sequel, Fallout 4.

This is not to say that the Fallout series has not been great but it can be tons better if Fallout 4 is to learn a thing or two from Mass Effect 4. For starters, the highly anticipated sequel can take some notes on the companionship model that is coming in Mass Effect 4.

Throughout the Mass Effect series, players can engage in a close relationship with other characters in the game. Heck, the player can also get intimate with their AI counterpart. Furthermore, the companions actually blossoms in character as the game progresses.

This is something the Fallout series have been missing out on. Yes, there are friends that can be made in Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas but they have little impact on the game and don’t actually bother to build a relationship with the player.

If such a feature is to be added in Fallout 4, it will surely boost the gaming experience. Of course, companionship is just the tip of the iceberg. This is why Fallout fans are recommended to check out Mass Effect 4 and hope for Bethesda to produce a massive Fallout 4 game ahead.
