Google Nexus 10 2 Specs Leak, May As Well Be A Nexus 12

There is a rumour going around that when the Google Nexus 10 2nd gen arrives it will boast a display of 12 inches and be minus the menu buttons. This would make it have the same design as what we have just seen with the recently released Samsung Galaxy Pro tablets.

Fans of the Nexus brand were disappointed not to see the Nexus 10 2 at the CES recently. The tablet has now missed several rumoured release dates. Google are not giving anything away about the tablet, including whether or not it will be released. Samsung however did surprise Galaxy fans when they revealed four new tablets.

Product Reviews said that Google may have had to rethink the Google Nexus 10 2nd gen. We did hear that Samsung may be behind the tablet and that it could have a bigger display and arrive without the menu buttons, as seen on the newly released Samsung tablets.

Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro along with the TabPro 12.2. Both of the tablets have larger displays and offer the highest ppi on tablets currently in the market. The displays are 12.2 inches of LCD.

It was also said that Google could go with LG or ASUS again for the tablets. @evleaks said on Twitter that they thought ASUS would be behind the tablet.

The Google Nexus 10 was launched in November 2012 and so it has passed its first birthday now. This has left Nexus fans wanting a follow up tablet and anticipation has been built up due to rumours about it coming with a display of 10 inches and 2560 x 1600ppi. We also heard that it may have 3GB of RAM, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor or the Tegra 4. There has also been speculation of the tablet having a camera of 8MP and being offered in 16GB and 32GB internal storage choices.
