Apple OS X Almost Ready To Retire, macOS Takes Over

With WWDC being just days away, more and more new details about what Apple will be announcing at the event have been surfacing. Besides all the Apple MacBook Pro and Apple MacBook Air rumor, there are also reports suggesting that the OS X will be called the MacOS after the event.

It was reported that on the FAQ page of the Apple iTunes, it states that the macOS, tvOS, watch OS and iOS will all be eligible “to earn 85% takes effect in June 2016 for subscription renewals occurring after that date.”

The statement can be found under the update App Store policy but it won’t be there now since Apple have already amended their “mistake”.

We know that Apple is looking to give the macOS a few major upgrades this year including the possibility of having Siri on your MacBook. More details should be revealed at the WWDC event happening next week.
