Bioware looks set to unleash the next Mass Effect game and it is going to be one of the biggest titles to hit the gaming industry. Mass Effect 4 will start on a brand new storyline surrounding a new protagonist.
For those who have missed out on Bioware’s announcements on Mass Effect 4, Commander Shepard won’t be around any longer. The protagonist we have loved and played will not feature in the franchise any more.
In spite of that, gamers can expect Mass Effect 4 to be big. With all the teases, rumours and speculations regarding Mass Effect 4 spreading like wildfire, the game is perceived to be a Bioware’s masterpiece.
The Examiner confirmed this claiming that Mass Effect 4 will feature a universe so huge that it will offer players a vast landmass to explore. This is similar to the upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Both AAA titles will run on the latest Frostbite engine which will open the doors to numerous new possibilities. This new and improved game engine will suit the next-gen consoles well. With that in mind, fans can expect both games to offer some spectacular graphics like never before.
Bioware’s Montreal general manager, Aaryn Flynn revealed that the upcoming Mass Effect title will have more playable races and much improved combat system while maintaining the franchise traditional gameplay.
In addition to that, Mass Effect 4 will be so new that the game’s name is still subject to confirmation. The developers made it clear that they want to discard the numerals as fans might get confused and thought it to be a direct sequel to the Mass Effect trilogy.
All in all, both Mass Effect 4 and Dragon Age 3 are bound to take the world by storm upon its release.
