While gamers haven’t heard anything official abut Left 4 Dead 3 and Half Life 3, they do believe that it will not be too much longer before Valve launches one of them. However which game will it be?
Recently the internal database of Valve was leaked and it offered a lot of information. If you look at the mailing list in that database, Valve employees around 300 members of staff. From these 300, 42 are said to have been getting updated about Half Life 3, these employees are made up of designers and developers.
As you can work out this number is larger than the number left working on Left 4 Dead 3. This could be a hint that Valve will release Half Life 3 soon. Of course the Source 2 engine should be nearing completion and this has left gamers believing that Half Life 3 would be the ideal game to launch with it.
However Left 4 Dead 3 would actually be a more realistic target and the developer may want to give Half Life 3 one of the best launches.
