HTC Two & Samsung Galaxy S5 Set For Epic Android Battle

Samsung and HTC are going to be offering new versions of their device this year. from Samsung we can expect the Samsung Galaxy S5, while HTC will be offering the HTC One 2. It has been said that the Samsung Galaxy S5 could come out in February and fans are getting very excited. But which device is the best?

Neither Samsung nor HTC have confirmed the handsets yet and predictions up to now have been based around analysts and what Samsung and HTC have offered in the past.

It has been said that HTC may not move very far away from the HTC One design. The HTC One did get a lot of praise for its design, which was aluminium and featuring dual speakers on the front. We have heard that the HTC One 2 could have a fingerprint scanner as leaks did show us that it would have room for one.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is said to be having a make-over. Many sources have said that Samsung will offer two different versions. One of these will be made of plastic while the other would be metal. It has been said that the Samsung Galaxy S4 didn’t go down as well as Samsung had hoped so this time they will offer something that will impress.

We could see the Samsung Galaxy S5 offers a display of 5.2 inches but the body of the phone may be smaller than that of the Samsung Galaxy S4. The HTC One 2 may have a display of around 4.7 inches, but some people have said that it will reach 5 inches. The HTC One could offer 1080p full HD. It is thought that the Samsung Galaxy S5 may have the 2k display, 560ppi and the Super AMOLED tech have gone in favour of high end LTPS LCD.

It is thought that the HTC One 2 may have the Snapdragon 805 or the 800 quad core with the Snapdragon MSM8974-AB model. 2GB of RAM could be included in the handset. Samsung may offer two choices. These would be the Exynos 6 Octa core with two quad core processors and heterogeneous multiprocessing or the Snapdragon 800. Samsung did say that they would be increasing the amount of RAM in their handsets, so it’s likely that we will see 4GB in the Samsung Galaxy S5.

Both of the handsets should have KitKat 4.4, but which is the best device will depend on the specs and the price tag when they are released.
