Dragon Age 3 & Mass Effect 4 May Match Each Other In Size Too

Fans of the Mass Effect franchise are about to experience a much more dynamic gameplay once Mass Effect 4 hit the stores. The fourth sequel to the Mass Effect series will have a fresh start with a whole new protagonist and storyline.

The game developer, Bioware, was really loud in announcing the game’s development. It is no secret that Commander Shepard from the first Mass Effect trilogy won’t be in the series anymore. So how big will Mass Effect 4 be?

According to Examiner, Mass Effect 4 will have a huge universe, similar to the much anticipated Dragon Age: Inquisition. Bioware Montreal’s general manager, Aaryn Flynn, confirmed this calling Mass Effect 4 to be large and ambitious with a vast world to explore. There will be plenty of improvements from tactical combat to more playable races.

It will be so new that it wouldn’t even be called Mass Effect 4. Despite taking place in the same universe with the traditional gameplay all intact, Flynn revealed that it will come with a different name so that players won’t get confused.

Both Mass Effect 4 and Dragon Age 3 are closely related as they are the two pioneer titles that will run on the new Frostbite game engine. This new engine, together with the next-gen consoles capabilities, will definitely make Mass Effect 4 a contender for game of the year.
