The iPhone 5S is fast reaching its first birthday but it is still Apple’s finest smartphone at the moment. Then, there is the newcomer Xiaomi Mi 3 which shook the world with its mighty specs and micro price tag. Which is better?
Bearing a price tag that is about a-third of the iPhone 5S, it is amazing on how the Mi 3 is able to offer a large 5” panel that produces 441ppi. Surprisingly, this is better than the 326ppi produced by the iPhone 5S’ 4” Retina display.
Even on battery life, the Mi 3’s 3050mAh battery meant that the smartphone from China can last twice longer than the iPhone 5S.
Under the hood, the Mi 3 continues to amaze the world as it outpaces the Apple A7 dual-core processor on the iPhone 5S thanks to its 2.3GHz 4-core processor. The Mi 3 is also equipped with a 2GB RAM which is more than the 1GB RAM fixed in the iPhone 5S.
All in all, the Mi 3 has proven itself to be the technically superior device than the iPhone 5S. However, it can’t challenge the smoothness of the iOS and the fingerprint scanner on the iPhone 5S.
