It wasn’t that long ago when the Xbox One got released and now; Microsoft is already working on the Xbox Two. Apparently, there is a chance for the latter to get released much sooner than expected due to the poor launching of the Xbox One.
On normal occasions, gaming consoles normally last for a decade before getting replaced with a newer generation but the rumours are rife in linking the Xbox Two to make an entry within the next 5 years.
An insider shared that within Microsoft headquarters, the Xbox division are busy brainstorming for the Xbox Two so that it will not end up as a failure like the Xbox One. They are plotting a machine that can get physical updates and does not force the Kinect onto the gamers.
In addition to that, Microsoft is debating on whether they should scrap gaming discs and replace it with digital copies entirely.
All of the above variables are being discussed non-stop as Microsoft aims to recover from the grave error which is the Xbox One. With the American tech giant already on the move, one can only wonder on how Sony will respond to this.
