Xbox One’s Ryse: Son of Rome Is Getting A New DLC

Microsoft has released today the Morituri Pack for Xbox One exclusive fighting game, Ryse: Son of Rome. This is following the release of a DLC for Forza Motorsport 5. The new DLC pack costs $8 ,but it comes free if you already purchased the game’s season pass. It brings the arrival of 10 new arenas distributed between the game’s various modes.

The Morituri Pack introduces five new arenas to the game’s Solo mode and they are Market, Garden, the aforesaid Beacon, Revolution, and False Gods maps. It also features three new arenas to add to the Gladiator Mode which are Beacon, False Gods, and Revolution. Survival mode wasn’t forgotten in this DLC and it got its piece of the cake but not like the other modes, it only got two map additions, Sulfur River and The Forbidden Forest.

Microsoft also reminded players of the nine Easter eggs hidden in the game’s campaign and Gladiator modes – six in the campaign and three in Gladiator mode. Players around the world have been successful in revealing only five of them, so Microsoft decided to lend you some instructions in order to speed up your search.

1. In the campaign level “The Wrath of the Nemesis,” there’s a Scorpio in a tower that can be used to shoot many things. Enemies. Pillars. Statues. Firing a few volleys at them will reacquaint you with a familiar face, but not at all like you’re expecting.

2. Hurling a pilum in the water may seem like a waste of lethal weaponry, but if you happen to do it one time too many underneath a certain bridge in the campaign level “Pax Romana,” you will summon a surprise guest.

3. There’s a courthouse with an open roof in the campaign level “Pax Romana” where your pilum can arrange a shocking introduction. Get reckless with them and see what happens.

4. Good things come to those who wait in the campaign level “The Son of Rome.” Once you reach the courtyard, duck behind a curtain and hang out on the steps on the other side for a bit. Keep your eyes on the nearby balcony. Makes you wonder how they got up there, right?

On June 2nd, Major Nelson will officially announce the nine Easter egg’s exact locations and those who were first to find one, email [email protected] with “Ryse Easter Eggs” in the subject line to have your name mentioned in the announcement.
