Game fans got a shock when a recent image on Twitter seemed to reveal that EA was about to start charging for its Sports UFC demo for Xbox One users. It also claimed that there’d be charges for FIFA 14 in the UK, but a check of UK and US PSN stores revealed (thankfully) that PSN stores wouldn’t charge for these demos on the PS4.
Further investigation has shown that the entire thing was wrong, an EA representative has said that Xbox One demo charges don’t exist at all!
This is good news for Xbox One players who can rest assured that they won’t be charged a dime for demos on their machines.
With rumors of an NBA 2K15 and Battlefield Hardline beta demo in the work, gamers can once again expect them to be free.
