It is clear that CD Projekt Red is still working on improving their game developing skills. It has just been reveal that the developer has just put in four proposals to the Polish government to get fundings.
The proposal includes R&D for city creation, seamless multiplayer, animation excellence, and cinematic feels. All four proposal has been approving which mean the developer will be getting about $7million to do their R&D.
We do not know when we will be seeing the fruits of these R&Ds but some fans think that these might be used to build the next Witcher game. Although we know that CD Projekt Red has made it clear that Gerald’s journey has ended, they did not say that it is the end of the Witcher universe.
If there is going to be a new Witcher game, we will most likely be seeing it after 2022 as CD Projekt Red has already announced that the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 will only be arriving between 2017 -2021.
