Every major carrier here in the US has already started selling the Google Nexus 6 since December last year except for Verizon. Now, the Big Red carrier is preparing to launch the Nexus 6 despite it being late for it.
This is evident after an internal packaging photo got leaked online and it came with the label that carries the quote, “Nexus 6 Launch” and “VZW Merchandising Material”. In other words, the mysterious packaging can be assumed to be the Nexus 6 for Verizon.
This is frustrating for the Verizon customers as they have been waiting for the Nexus 6 for so long now. Heck, some even went to buy an unlocked model before applying a Verizon price plan with it.
It is unsure on what is taking Verizon their own sweet time and it gets even more frustrating when the carrier denied preparing a Nexus 6 launching campaign.
Even so, the insider that snapped and leaked the image revealed that Verizon will start selling the Nexus 6 on March 12 this week. That is just a couple of days from now and we will find out for sure if the insider is for real. Until then, it is best to take this with a grain of salt.
