In today’s world, touch screen is the way to go. Physical keypads and keyboards are out of favor and very rare to come by. Motorola has been in the mobile phone industry for a long time and with every change in the market trend, the company manages to adapt itself.
In spite of that, fans have certainly missed Motorola’s Droid series. This line of phones from Motorola is classified as smartphones. However, it comes with a physical keyboard which was a trend in the past.
The Droid smartphone was created in a style which strongly appeals the consumers. As such, there have been speculations on Motorola’s Droid 5, coming for a release this year. If this is true, then the Droid 5 blueprint must be thoroughly revised in order for the trend to be revived one more time.
The Droid series have many success stories to share. There are also bitter occasions like the Droid 2 which got criticized for being too big. The Droid 5 has to be careful and not repeat this same error. On the other hand, there is no way for Motorola to settle with anything lesser than a 4 inch screen.
The Droid 5 might arrive at this year’s MWC which is about a month away from now. It is rumoured to have a 720p display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a 2300mAh capacity battery. The device will also run on the Android Jellybean 4.1.
