The DROID series from Motorola has never failed to impress the consumers and soon, there will be more additions to the DROID family. The rumours are indicating that both Verizon and Motorola are collaborating yet again to produce more DROID smartphones.
In detail, there will be 2 new Motorola DROID smartphones coming out later this year. The first will be a high-end model while the second is a mid-range model. We have reason to believe that the former will be the DROID Turbo 2 while the latter will be the DROID 5.
The rumours also shared a spec sheet which suggests that the device is going to come out with 1440p display, Snapdragon 810 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 4200mAh battery, Turbo Charging, microSD support, 16.1MP rear camera and 5MP front shooter.
Obviously, the spec sheet is referring to the Turbo 2 and this is evident with the large battery capacity. Unfortunately, however, the above is still based on rumours so it is best to take it with a pinch of salt regardless of how realistic it may sound.
