Local carmaker got the most attention from the nation as the Proton Preve S achieved 5-star ratings which are 1 star ahead of the Polo hatch, Honda CR-V and Chevrolet Colorado. Of course, both the CR-Z and the Colorado are without the ESC.
It seems that most of the vehicles tested are equipped with two airbags, electronic stability control and a seat belt reminder as they are the criteria needed to achieve 5stars. Without any single one of them, a car can only get 4 stars max.
