Respawn’s effort to come out with a great Titanfall sequel did not go to waste as the new Titanfall 2 was nominated for the Game Of The Year award this year.
The new Titanfall 2 game was a huge success and things should only be getting better from here on. A lot of people are still on the fence about getting the game as they are afraid that there won’t be enough players playing the multiplayer game right now but with all the positive reviews, we think the numbers will go up soon enough.
With this kind of success, you would think that Respawn would know the answer as to whether there will be a third installment but when Vince Zampella, the CEO of Respawn was asked the question by Glixel, he said that he does not know yet but added that they would like to explore more of the universe.
While he did not confirm a third installment, it is clear that they are not ready to ditch Titanfall just yet. Even if they decide to work on a new Titanfall game, we would probably have to wait for years since Titanfall 2 is still new and they are currently busy working on the new Star Wars game.
