You would think that the Corvette ZO6 will be safe from any EV models right now but they were just beaten by their own family.
The guys over at Genovation decided to take the Corvette GXE for another spin on the track and unlike the last run, the Corvette Z06 actually hit 209mph this time around. The GXE only got to 205.6mph the last time and that is all thanks to the transmission offered on the vehicle.
Unlike most of the EV models out there, the Corvette GXE comes with a 7-speed manual or 8-speed auto transmission option. That and the powerful electric engine was what the Corvette GXE to break their previous speed limit.
The GXE was powered by a 650hp engine. So how much do you need to pay to own this powerful electric supercar? Well, the Corvette GXE from Genovation will cost you $750,000 with a $250,000 deposit. You will also have to wait until the end of 2019 to get the vehicle.
