Well, if you ever find yourself surrounded by water and is in need of an emergency boat, the Tesla Model S will come to your rescue.
A new video has been making its round online. The video shows a Kazakhstan owner driving his Tesla Model S through a flooded water. Seeing as the water did reach the rear-view camera, it is safe to assume that the battery was submerged underwater. The Tesla Model S continue to drive through the water without breaking down.
Tesla’s Elon Musk later tweeted that even though they do not recommend it, the Tesla Model S does float well enough to turn into a boat for a short period of time. We do not know how short he meant but sure hope we are not going to see more video of people testing it out.
The video does prove that the Tesla Model S is sealed tight.
