Now that Tesla is finally willing to release electric powered models that come with a more affordable price tag, let’s see how the Tesla Model 3 will fare when compared with the Chevrolet Bolt.
The Chevrolet Bolt comes in with an electric powered engine that will allow their customers to go about 200miles but it was later announced that the Bolt will most likely be able to offer about 240miles of range. Tesla, on the other hand, hinted that their Tesla Model 3 will be able to offer about 215miles but added that it could possibly offer more.
With the electric engine, the Bolt will need about 7 seconds to go from 0-60m[h while Tesla teases that the Model 3 will need less than 6 seconds. He also added that there might be an even faster Tesla Model 3 in the future.
The Chevrolet Bolt will retail for $37,000 while the Tesla Model 3 after taking into consideration the transaction price will retail for $42,000.
